Agrarian Unions-UPA organizes an online conference on the demographic challenge in rural areas and the generational change

On June 3 , Unións Agrarias-UPA will hold an online technical workshop entitled "Demographic Challenge in Rural Areas and Promoting Generational Change." This event will focus on analyzing the causes of rural abandonment and proposing solutions to reverse depopulation and ensure a generational change in agroforestry operations.
The event, which will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , will address key topics such as:
- population aging
- the loss of youth in the countryside
- the role of rural women
- new formulas to facilitate the transfer of farms.
Success stories and measures to improve sustainability and efficiency in the agroforestry sector will also be presented.
The event is aimed at people interested in rural development and will feature representatives and experiences from Galicia, Castile and León, Castile-La Mancha, and Extremadura.
