Agrarian Unions-UPA celebrates the ninth edition of its conference “Regenerative agriculture and livestock as keys to sustainability”

Unións Agrarias-UPA is organizing the ninth edition of the technical conference "Regenerative Agriculture and Livestock as Keys to Sustainability" on November 14, 2025 , in an online format. This event is aimed at disseminating knowledge and practical experiences that promote a more resilient, profitable and environmentally friendly agricultural model, disseminating regenerative practices that improve soil fertility, biodiversity and the sustainability of farms.
This training action is part of the program “Living Territories: Environmental Regeneration, Generational Change and Demographic Challenge” , developed according to Royal Decree 251/2024, of March 12 , which regulates the subsidies for knowledge exchange interventions and training and information activities and advisory services within the framework of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023-2027 .
A space to promote regeneration and sustainability
The aim of the event is to disseminate and transmit information on innovative practices in regenerative agriculture and livestock farming , which are fundamental to regenerating, stimulating and maintaining soil fertility and biodiversity, improving the economic sustainability of farms and actively contributing to the mitigation of climate change .
During the session, participants will learn about the scientific and practical foundations of this approach, as well as the environmental, economic, and social benefits generated by its application in the field.

Training within the “Living Territories” program
This event is part of the training activities of the “Living Territories” program, an initiative that seeks to regenerate the rural environment from a triple perspective: environmental, generational and demographic , promoting a sustainable rural development model that integrates innovation, knowledge and social commitment.
The project is promoted by Unións Agrarias-UPA as the responsible and beneficiary entity, within the framework of the aid financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) .
