Description
The 1st Catalan Congress of Young Researchers in Food Science will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 , in the Graduation Hall of the Gramenet Building of the Food Campus of the University of Barcelona , in Santa Coloma de Gramenet .
The program will include an opening conference on the future of food and will be structured into the following thematic blocks:
- Food sustainability and sociocultural aspects of food
- Food safety and quality in times of change: challenges and solutions
- Nutrition for health and well-being
- Advances in food technology
- Open session of the Annual Technology Transfer Plan (PATT) : round table “Research on impact: transfer and innovation in the agri-food sector”
The Congress will conclude with the official closing ceremony and the awarding of prizes for the best oral and poster presentations .
