Workshop on Satellite Remote Sensing in Agriculture: NDVI and NDMI Indices
Description
In this workshop on Satellite Remote Sensing in Agriculture we present the new module of our aGROSlab Digital Agricultural Ecosystem platform. The Remote Sensing module can be contracted together withthe Digital Farm Notebook or with Advice for Agricultural Farms .
This workshop is divided into two parts: the first part will lay the foundations for its operation, explaining the basic concepts on which it has been implemented, and the second part will be a demonstration of its operation.
The Satellite Remote Sensing in Agriculture module incorporates the NVDI index , a name that corresponds to the acronym in English for Normalized Difference Vegetation Index. This indicator is also known as the green index, since it indicates the vegetative vigor, that is, the greenness, density and health of the existing vegetation on the analyzed plot. Likewise, we will present the NDMI index , Normalized Difference Humidity Index, which detects the humidity levels in the vegetation, which is why it is considered a good indicator of water in the plant.
Finally, we will be able to see the tools for comparative temporal graphic analysis integrated in the module, which will allow us to know the temporal evolution of the Index at a certain point or area and compare it with another point in the same or another area, and even for two different agricultural campaigns.
Don't miss this workshop, the future is already here and aGROSlab makes it available to you in the best conditions.
