Water analysis workshop for more efficient and sustainable fertilization

Free
Modality: Online
Location: Online

Description

Irrigation water management is one of the cornerstones of modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly agriculture. More and more farms are incorporating water analysis as a key tool to optimize fertilization, reduce costs, and maintain soil health. Understanding the dissolved ions and the quality of the water used for each irrigation directly influences the productivity and sustainability of any crop.

With this objective, we announce the launch of the online course “Water Analysis Workshop” , a 3-hour practical training designed for technicians, advisors and farmers to acquire the necessary skills to correctly interpret a water analysis and make informed decisions.

During the session, students will learn to:

  • Identify and evaluate the most relevant parameters in a water analysis.
  • Interpret the results with technical rigor.
  • Determine the suitability of different water sources according to the crop and irrigation system.
  • Define fertilization strategies tailored to the chemical characteristics of the available water.
  • Understanding the impact of water quality on soil health and fertility.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be prepared to optimize water use , improve fertilization efficiency, and apply more sustainable agronomic criteria to their farms.
