Under this concept of soilless crops are included all those systems that make plants grow outside the soil, and the cultivation can be carried out on a solid medium with different substrates: rock wool, coconut fiber, perlite, etc., or developing it on a nutrient solution, or hydroponic cultivation.
Well managed, they can improve production , allow better control of soil pests and diseases , reduce labor needs by eliminating or facilitating soil cultural work, allow complete automation of fertigation , etc.
The course consists of three blocks that will address aspects of substrate quality, soilless cultivation systems, equipment, system management, formulation of nutrient solutions, drainage recirculation, seedbed management, specific phytosanitary problems and possible incidence of physiopathies and economic aspects.
