Professional expert program in biostimulants and biocontrol
Description
The Official College of Agricultural Engineers of Levante (COIAL), with the support of the Spanish Association of Agronutrient Manufacturers (AEFA), has announced the fifth edition and first international edition of its professional expert program in biostimulants and biocontrol, aimed at professionals in the agricultural sector who seek to specialize in plant health, crop nutrition and bioprotection techniques.
The course, comprising 296 hours of instruction spread over 79 training sessions, combines in-person, live online, and recorded learning, offering flexibility to adapt to different professional profiles. It is designed for a maximum of 50 participants and will run from January 13, 2026, to March 5, 2027.
Content
The modules include:
- Biological and biotechnical pest control (40 h)
- Biocontrol of diseases (24 h)
- Crop nutrition and biofertilization (25 h)
- Phytostimulation and bioprotection against abiotic stresses (38 h)
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (8 h)
- Applicable regulations for bioprotection products (48 h)
- Consultative selling and professional communication (48.5 h)
- ICT tools, essays and case studies
The program also includes meetings with companies in the sector , promoting knowledge transfer and networking opportunities.
