Description

This 21-hour course introduces the use and interpretation of data from sensors on board machinery used in the agricultural sector and its management in platforms based on FIWARE components. A review of the most commonly used sensors and actuators in agricultural machinery will be carried out, concluding with a basic installation and configuration of some of the most commonly used sensors.

The objectives of the course are:

  • Boost the capacity of agricultural technicians in ICT technologies.
  • To present a conceptual review of Precision Agriculture.
  • Exchange information on the status of ICT use in the agricultural sector.
  • Introduce ourselves to the world of initial capture and management of data from sensors and actuators with open and standardized tools.
  • Help to understand all the concepts involved in precision agriculture
