New technologies in machinery for the production of woody crops
Description
Organized by the University of Córdoba, the course will allow participants to learn about the latest technologies in the control and automation of agricultural machinery for woody crops, as well as systems for managing inputs (fertilizer and phytosanitary products) tailored to the needs of each area of land, in what is globally known as "Variable Dosing" (VD), in addition to new technologies in harvesting, sensors installed in machines, and robotics.
It is part of the Digitalization Strategy for the Agri-Food, Forestry, and Rural Sectors, promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food and reported to the Council of Ministers on March 29, 2019. This strategy seeks to eliminate or reduce existing technical, legislative, economic, and training barriers to the digital transformation process.
It aims to contribute to the leadership of an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable agri-food sector, as well as to the active settlement of rural areas, to create a more attractive, vibrant, dynamic, and diversified rural environment, generating wealth and quality employment, with a special focus on young people and women.
