New regulations on organic production
Description
On January 1, 2022, RE 2018/848, on organic production and labeling of organic products, came into force to continue guaranteeing products with high added value, healthy, nutritious and safe for health and the environment.
These seminars will address the main changes in plant and livestock production, transformation and also labeling, being of great need for the entire sector. In such a way that competitiveness in the market is improved, offering differentiated products with a guarantee.
GOALS
– Train professionals who are dedicated to the production and marketing of organic production, improving the capabilities of the organic farming sector so that it can adapt to the requirements of the new European Regulation.
– Analyze and study the new REGULATION (EU) 2018/848 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL on organic production and labeling of organic products. Control and Certification Requirements and their main changes with respect to Council Regulation (EC) 834/2007.
METHODOLOGY AND ACTIVITIES
