The GIS concept as a digital tool allows users to exploit the value of data , including geospatial variables, and improve the efficiency of processes and, above all, decision-making . It offers a wide range of geospatial functions, such as data management, mapping and visualization, spatial analysis, and so on, with broad applications in agronomy.

This course, available on the ArcGIS Classroom platform, provides the fundamental knowledge for working with ArcGIS Pro, from the creation and visualization of geospatial data (2D and 3D) to spatial analysis and the creation of maps for dissemination. Throughout the course, participants will become familiar with the ArcGIS Pro interface, its data editing and symbolization tools, and the various geoprocessing environments that allow them to answer geographic questions such as:

- How are these elements spatially related?
- What impact would a geographical phenomenon have on certain areas?
- How can I effectively represent and communicate the results of a spatial analysis?
