BASIC PHYTOSANITARY PRODUCT HANDLER RENOVATION COURSE. NAVARRE

Addressed to:
Residents of the Autonomous Community of Navarre whose initial basic pesticide handler license has been valid for 10 years and need to renew it.
Goals:
This course aims to provide additional training, in accordance with Regional Order 75/2006 and Resolution 76/2013, for personnel whose basic-level ID card has reached the 10-year validity period established in Royal Decree 1311/2012, of September 14, and who need to process its renewal.
Content:
1. Integrated pest management, farm advice, and farm logbook.
2. Practical cases on classification, labeling and safety data sheets of
phytosanitary products.
3. Correct sequence during transport, storage and handling of the
phytosanitary products.
4. Protection and special measures established in the Water Framework Directive (Directive 2000/60/EC).
5. Practices for identifying and using PPE.
6. Factors to consider for efficient and correct application in the different methods of applying phytosanitary products.
7. Periodic inspections of application equipment.
8. Methods for identifying illegal plant protection products and risks associated with their use. Infractions, penalties, and offenses.
9. Health surveillance structures and availability of access to report any incident or suspected incident.
