Advanced Artificial Intelligence course for agricultural engineers
Description
The Official College of Agricultural Engineers of Andalusia , through the Andalusian Foundation of Agricultural Engineers , is organizing an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) course aimed at agricultural engineering professionals who have already had a first contact with AI tools and wish to take full advantage of their potential in the professional field .
The training is especially geared towards agricultural engineers , master's students in Agricultural Engineering , agricultural technical engineers , graduates in Agri-food and Rural Engineering , as well as other engineering professionals who use AI in technical, management, consulting or administrative contexts.
The main objective of the course is for participants to learn how to design better prompts , apply advanced techniques for interacting with AI assistants , incorporate practical tricks , and develop methods and workflows that allow them to increase efficiency, the quality of results, and productivity in their daily professional lives.
The program is structured in five modules that cover everything from the fundamentals of a good professional prompt , differentiating between effective and ineffective queries, to advanced prompting techniques , role-playing, response structuring, and the generation of complex content such as tables, diagrams, and matrices. Participants will also work with reusable prompt templates for common tasks—communication, decision-making, team management, and training—and will delve into the design of AI-powered workflows , all through a hands-on workshop with guided exercises and best practices for responsible use .
The course will be delivered via a 4-hour videoconference , supplemented with teaching materials in PDF format . To obtain the certificate of completion , it will be necessary to attend the live session or watch the recording and pass a final assessment.
The training will be delivered by Luisa María Lara Ruiz , Director General of Management Strategy. Registration will be open until February 1, 2026 , and the course will be held on February 2, 2026 , with between 10 and 100 places available.
The registration fee is €90 for members and €110 for non-members . Members who choose to take both the introductory AI course and the professional AI course can benefit from a combined price of €120 .
