The construction of a permanent network of transnational public-institutional organizations, and not only, is therefore one of the main objectives of the project, which allows for the exchange of experiences and best practices at various levels (technical excellence, best practices in educational policies, and system governance).
With this proposal, the Consortium aims to promote the internationalization of institutional relations and cooperation at the European level. Opportunities for economic and social growth are inseparable from the desire to create strong interdependence and synergy between educational and training institutions, as well as solid collaborations with local and foreign businesses. The project works, in particular, to achieve a European area of lifelong learning in the agricultural, agro-industrial, and environmental sectors.
The overall objective is achieved through a mobility experience consisting of a 13-week learning experience abroad for 50 participants: students certifying their mandatory internships, recent graduates from home vocational training centers, and workshop participants with a professional certificate from the Lora del Río City Council. The training program includes internships in selected companies in the agricultural, agro-industrial, and environmental sectors to acquire knowledge and skills in these sectors and compare various professional techniques. It also includes activities aimed at inclusion and integration in the context, improving language skills, and gaining a better understanding of the host country's culture.
In line with the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy and ET2020, through "agrovega2.0," the consortium, led by the Lora del Río City Council, seeks to improve the quality of education and vocational training by providing a European dimension to educational pathways and thus offering young participants the opportunity to test and improve their skills: professionalism in specific areas of vocational training (agricultural, agro-industrial, and environmental sectors), cultural knowledge, and language skills.
The main expected results of the project include:
- The development of participants' personal and professional skills and the promotion of key competencies related to the real exercise of active citizenship.
- Increasing the participants' employment potential.
- The introduction of innovative training methods that complement existing practices and programs.
- Improving the educational level of technical and vocational schools.
- The development of relationships between transnational partners and the promotion of cooperation processes and the exchange of best practices among the partners involved, with a significant impact on improving educational and professional guidance.
