Biodiversity Foundation Project: Form and Employ RURAL

Description

The Forma y Emplea RURAL project consists of a total of nine mixed training courses in Asturias, Zamora, and León (also with recipients in Valladolid and Palencia), all of which offer professional qualifications.

The aim is to harness the employment potential in protected areas covered by the Habitats Directive and UNESCO (Biosphere Reserves) to train and create jobs in the use of endogenous resources: viticulture, beekeeping, organic farming, training and employment that make the compatibility of the Natura Network and areas of high ecological value a reality with quality employment that highlights native products such as vineyards, cultivated since time immemorial.

Objectives

The project's objective is job creation: to improve the employability and qualifications of workers working in organic or non-organic viticulture and auxiliary activities directly related to agriculture in protected areas.
