More than €207 million agreed to be distributed among the regional governments for rural development, agriculture and livestock farming

The Council of Ministers of April 16 has authorized the territorial distribution among the autonomous communities of eight credits for a total amount of €207.87 million to finance rural development interventions contemplated in the National Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and different actions in the area of competitiveness and quality of market production, plant and animal health and the Community Program of Support for Agricultural Production (POSEI) of the Canary Islands.
At the Sectoral Conference on Agriculture and Rural Development held on 19 April, the distribution of the authorised amount among the autonomous communities was agreed.
The authorisation for the distribution of funds is carried out in two agreements, a credit of €158.2 million for rural development measures of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) , and another of €49.6 million for different lines of action in agriculture and livestock farming distributed as follows:
