VI Women in Agriculture Awards
Description
Forty-nine candidates were submitted to the sixth edition of the MujerAGRO Awards . The Awards are supported by companies in the agri-food sector that decide to showcase their actions related to equality and CSR commitment . The ceremony for the VI MujerAGRO Awards was held in Madrid on February 23 at the ICEX Spain Export and Investment Auditorium.
The winners of the VI MujerAGRO Awards have been Marta Martín Abad, Founder and Manager of Entrecabritos ; Jacoba González Gómez, Director of ITEAF Sevilla ; BIOSER ; Enrique de los Ríos Porras, General Manager of UNICA ; Inés Jul López, Head of Currás Xia Livestock Farm; Study on 'Reproductive biotechnologies such as in vitro fertilization in animals' led by Ana Josefa Soler Valls, veterinarian and Doctor in Agricultural Engineering; and Rosa Vañó Cañadas, Founding Partner of Castillo de Canena .
The jury of the Prize is made up of experts and institutions of recognized prestige in the agri-food sector, among which are representatives of Siete Agromarketing , Jorge Jordana Butticaz, Patron of the Lafer Foundation , Agro-food Cooperatives of Spain and Association of Women of Agro-food Cooperatives of Spain (AMCAE) , Association for the Promotion of Consumption of Fruit and Vegetables "5 a Day" , Higher Technical School of Agricultural, Food and Biosystems Engineering (UPM) , Interprofessional Dairy Organization (InLac) , National Association of Agricultural Engineers (ANIA) , European Landowners' Organization (ELO) and CIHEAM Zaragoza.
In the case of the MUJER AGRO Food Tech category , it has its own bases and jury that is made up of: Siete Agromarketing , WA4STEAM , AMIT – MIT, Network of Women for Innovation and Technology (Association of Women Researchers & Technologists) , Higher Technical School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineers of the University of Córdoba (ETSIAM) , National Association of Agricultural Engineers (ANIA) , Ivoro Venture , Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) , Agro-food Cooperatives of Spain and Interprofessional Dairy Organization (InLac) .
