Continuous training plan 2024 for technical staff in rural areas

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published on its website the 2024 Continuing Education Plan for Rural Technical Staff , with the aim of promoting agri-food training as a key tool in the development of the rural world. The Plan has organised a total of 52 training activities covering various topics of special relevance, such as generational change, the incorporation of women in the primary sector, innovation and digitalisation in the field or advice, among others.

In this way, the Ministry maintains its commitment to training to promote social and economic balance between cities and rural areas , which represent around 84% of the territory in Spain, but are home to only 16% of the population.
