Rural Toolkit: Virtual guide to financing for rural areas

The “ Rural Kit ” or “ Rural Toolbox ” ( Rural Toolkit ) is a digital platform serving as a guide that centralises the different types of financing that the European Union makes available to rural areas in the Community countries. Its objective is to help people, local authorities, institutions and companies to identify and take advantage of the funds, programmes and other financing and support initiatives existing in Europe for rural development.

The Platform has three sections :

A) Funding seeker

B) Good practice cases and inspiring stories

C) Practical materials and knowledge on 6 factors that directly impact rural development: broadband, culture, education, energy, environment and tourism.
