Description
The Spanish Society of Organic Agriculture/Agroecology (SEAE) programs the 45-hour blended training activity "Organic Beekeeping" with the following contents :
- Topic 1. General introduction, origin and evolution of organic beekeeping production
- Topic 2. European regulations for organic production; inspection and certification. Helps.
- Topic 3. General principles of ecological beekeeping production: breeds, feeding and reproduction.
- Topic 4. Apiaries and transhumance.
- Topic 5. Health of bees.
- Topic 6. Quality of organic honey.
- Topic 7. Preparation, marketing and labeling.
- Topic 8. Conversion of a farm. Example of farms/companies
