To mark the 40th anniversary of Spain's accession to the then European Economic Community , this meeting is conceived as a space for strategic reflection on the evolution and role of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in our country, as well as on the debates that will shape its future in the context of the post-2027 CAP and the new Multiannual Financial Framework .

This is an in-person event with a clear focus on disseminating accurate information, aiming to bring the debate on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) closer to the public through rigorous analysis . For this reason, it will feature the participation of the main associations of specialized journalists in the agri-food, environmental, and rural sectors in Spain: the Spanish Association of Agri-Food Journalists (APAE), the Association of Environmental Journalists (APIA), and the Rural Journalists Network. The event will also include networking opportunities .

The morning will be structured around different spaces for dialogue :

  • Dialogue between national and European institutional leaders.
  • Panel discussion on the past, present and future of the CAP in Spain.
  • Space dedicated to the voice of young female farmers, ranchers and inhabitants of the rural environment.
