Registration is now open for the free online course “Sustainable Use of Agro-industrial Waste Through Insect Farming,” which will be held on Tuesday, February 24 , from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ( territorial reference: Albacete ). Space is limited , so early registration is recommended.
The session will address the potential of insect farming as a circular economy tool, aimed at promoting the efficient and sustainable use of organic waste and byproducts generated by the agribusiness sector. Throughout the training, the basic principles of insect breeding and management will be covered, along with their role in transforming byproducts into valuable resources—such as animal protein and fertilizers —and the environmental and technological best practices that contribute to improving the sustainability of the agribusiness sector.
Training objective
The main objective is to promote strategies to value agro-industrial waste by transforming it into useful products, reinforcing sustainability, resource efficiency and the generation of new opportunities within the agro-industrial chain.
