Description
BioVal+ aims to biofortify and improve tolerance to water stress through an experimental compound
Contextual description
To contribute to the development of a more sustainable agri-food sector through biofortification, water stress tolerance, use in biofactories, the circular economy or the contribution of new scientific knowledge.
Results
A biostimulant has been developed that increases the production of tocopherols (vitamin E) in plants by two to three times, improving their nutritional value, stress resistance and shelf life, with applications in agriculture, health food and cosmetics
