Description
The project addresses the sustainability of horticulture in the face of economic, social, and environmental challenges, optimizing inputs and reducing pollution from nutrients and plastics. It proposes solutions such as biodegradable hydro-mulches and multi-trophic systems, promoting adaptive, circular agriculture that respects the agroecosystem.
Results
The use of hydro-mulches made from pruning waste (peach, almond, lemon): Improves soil properties Reduces water consumption Increases nutrients available to the plant Increases crop yield Reduces costs for the farmer
