Information session on the Register of Fertilizer Manufacturers and Agents (REGFER)
Description
On February 5, 2026, an information day dedicated to the General Register of Manufacturers and Other Economic Agents of Fertilizer Products (REGFER) will be held in Logroño , a key tool for the correct application of the regulations and for the promotion of sustainable nutrition of agricultural soils .
The event will take place in the seminar room of the administrative building of the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (ICVV), at Finca La Grajera , from 10:00 to 12:00 , and is aimed at professionals and agents involved in the fertilizer chain.
REGFER is a state-run registry, mandatory since January 1, 2026 , for all stakeholders in the fertilizer sector, including manufacturers, importers, distributors, consultants, and applicators . Its creation aims to improve the control, traceability, and sustainable use of fertilizer products in agriculture.
During the session, technicians from the Agricultural Production Service will explain in detail the registration procedure , which is managed by the autonomous communities, as well as the main aspects of Order APA/1226/2025 , which regulates the structure and operation of the register.
The event is free , but places are limited , so prior registration is required.
