On January 29 , the European Forum for Agricultural and Rural Advisory Services (EUFRAS) network is organizing a new EUFRAS Coffee Break , an online session aimed at agricultural advisors and agents in the rural sector interested in learning about EU-FarmBook , an open access platform designed to facilitate the use of knowledge funded by the European Union in the daily practice of advising.
What is EU-FarmBook?
Under the title " How EU-FarmBook Can Strengthen Your Daily Advisory Work," the event will offer detailed information about EU-FarmBook, a digital platform that brings together practical tools, guides, videos, and research results from EU-funded projects in one place. Its aim is to provide advisors with access to reliable, non-commercial, EU-backed knowledge, saving them time and improving the quality and robustness of their recommendations to farmers and rural communities.
Session contents
During this Coffee Break, the following aspects, among others, will be addressed:
- How EU-FarmBook supports daily advisory work through smart searches, multilingual access, and reusable practical materials.
- Introducing Farm-Assistant , an AI-based tool that provides immediate answers based on the platform's content, always linked to the original sources.
- Tour of the main sections of the platform and screening of a short introductory video.
- Explanation of how advisors involved in EU-funded projects can contribute materials , increasing the visibility and long-term impact of the results.
