Santa María del Páramo hosts a conference on adapting farms to the new challenges of digitalization

Next Tuesday, January 27, 2026 , Santa María del Páramo (León) will be the setting for the day “Adapting farms to the new challenges of digitalization” , a training meeting aimed at analyzing how digital tools can improve management, competitiveness and generational change in the agricultural sector.
The event will be held at Avenida del Esla, 3 (Ground Floor) and is aimed at farmers, technical staff and people interested in moving towards a more efficient and digitized management of farms .
Digitalization, management and competitiveness at the heart of the debate
The program will begin at 10:00 AM with attendee registration and distribution of materials. Following this, some of the sector's main challenges will be addressed, starting with access for young people and women to agricultural work , presented by Apolinar Castellanos .
The session will continue with the presentation of key digital tools for farm management , such as REACYL and the Digital Farm Notebook (CUE) , which will be presented by Daniel González , focusing on their practical usefulness for the farmer's daily life.
After the break, the day will conclude with a presentation focused on competitiveness and the new challenges of the digitalization of agricultural holdings , given by Susana Gallego .
The meeting will end at 2:30 p.m. with a meal, which will also serve as an informal space for the exchange of experiences among the participants.
