Sectoral technical seminar: The regenerative garden. Catalonia Edition.

In 2026, the series of sector-specific technical workshops will begin as part of the program "Workshops and Technical Seminars for the Promotion of Regenerative and Sustainable Agriculture ," an initiative launched in March 2025 by the Juana de Vega Foundation and the company Agroassessor , with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food . The workshop "The Regenerative Garden," to be held on January 16 , focuses on applying the regenerative approach to horticultural systems.

With a schedule from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (6 hours of training with a lunch break), the day will address in a practical and applied way the fundamentals of regenerative horticulture , from soil preparation to the comprehensive design of the production system.

The program will include content such as biointensive agriculture, the production of quality compost, crop selection and association, crop rotations, close planting, the use of seedbeds and open-pollinated seeds, ending with a space for analysis and conclusions.

This workshop is aimed at producers, technicians and advisors interested in improving soil fertility, reducing external inputs and moving towards more resilient and productive orchards .
