UPA Aragón organizes a field demonstration day on pruning woody crops in Maluenda

UPA Aragón will hold a field demonstration day on pruning in woody crops on February 3, 2026 , aimed at farmers and professionals in the sector interested in improving the management of almond trees and learning about different pruning techniques applied to new production realities.
The event will take place at the Maluenda Town Hall (Plaza del Cardena Casanova, 1), from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , and will combine technical explanations with practical field demonstrations.
Almond tree management and practical pruning demonstration
The program will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the reception of attendees by UPA Aragón technical staff. Following this, the management of almond trees will be addressed, analyzing key aspects for proper crop management.
Starting at 1:00 PM , a practical demonstration of pruning techniques will be held, showcasing conventional pruning systems, new trends , and high-density models , led by specialist Juan Pablo , allowing attendees to directly observe the differences and advantages of each approach.
The day will conclude at 2:00 pm with a Spanish wine , encouraging the exchange of experiences among the participants.
