GO e-LocalHub presents itself to the Breeders' Associations and the Autonomous Communities at a MAPA meeting

Yesterday, Tuesday, December 2nd, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Sub-Directorate of Livestock Production Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. The meeting, convened by the Ministry, addressed various issues related to the 100% Native Breed Logo. It saw strong participation from technicians of Breeders' Associations and representatives of competent authorities from different autonomous communities, both in person and online.
Another highlight of the agenda was the presentation of the e-LocalHub Operational Group, by Teresa Antoñanzas, from the Technical Department of the Royal Spanish Federation of Associations of Selected Livestock (RFEAGAS), and Elena Angón, from the University of Córdoba, who explained the origin, objectives and future lines of action of the project, which also foresees the adhesion of all Associations of Breeders of native breeds that use the Logo so that they can participate in a specific marketplace.
The meeting concluded with a round of interventions, allowing both in-person and virtual attendees to contribute their assessments and questions.
About e-LocalHub
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has awarded a grant to the innovative project “E-LocalHUB: Digital technological innovations focused on customer experience to improve the commercial competitiveness of traditional extensive livestock farming and promote short distribution circuits.” This grant supports the preparation and implementation of innovation projects of general interest by supra-regional operational groups of the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI), within the framework of Spain's CAP Strategic Plan (PEPAC) for 2023. Funding for this project will be provided entirely by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The total amount requested was €571,965.40, and a grant of €586,119.80 has been awarded. The beneficiary partners of the E-LOCALHUB Operational Group are responsible for the content of this innovative project.
