COEXPHAL organizes the National AKIS Meeting within the framework of the Climate Smart Advisors project

The Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producer Organizations of Almería ( COEXPHAL ) will hold the National AKIS Meeting next Friday, November 28 , from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. , a meeting that will take place virtually through Microsoft Teams and that is part of the European project Horizon Europe Climate Smart Advisors (CSA) .

The meeting will bring together advisors, professional organizations, knowledge centers and other actors in the AKIS system to delve deeper into the project's progress and explore new avenues for intersectoral collaboration.

A program focused on collaboration and the exchange of experiences

The session will begin with a welcome and introduction by the national coordinators , followed by a general presentation of the Climate Smart Advisors project and the current status of the first wave of Communities of Practice (CoPs) in Spain, explaining their objectives and the lines of work already underway. Next, two participatory workshops will be held, designed to facilitate dialogue between the different professionals in the AKIS ecosystem:

• Workshop 1: Identifying the main challenges that hinder collaboration between actors in the AKIS system.
• Workshop 2: Brainstorming and proposals to improve cooperation and promote teamwork.

The day will conclude with the presentation of the next steps of the CSA project and a final concluding session.
