Goals
Berry cultivation has become an opportunity for entrepreneurs and a way to combat depopulation in some rural areas. With added quality, Castile and León is gaining significant prestige, and varietal innovation and improvements in agricultural management are proving key to maintaining the competitiveness of its berries.
Regarding the specific objectives, the following is pursued:
- Promoting the sustainability of red fruit cultivation through training, contributing to adaptation to and mitigation of climate change.
- Improve diversification and increase the competitiveness of agricultural holdings.
- Improve the technical capacity of professionals dedicated to the cultivation of red fruits through orientation to market demands.
