Conference on good practices for biodiversity areas applicable to ecoregimes in Andalusia

The PAC Network , part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) , is organizing an in-person workshop on best practices for biodiversity areas in farmland, permanent crops, and underwater crops , applicable to ecoregimes in Andalusia.
The meeting, which will be held at the Santa Ana Church Cultural Center (C/ Santa Ana, 39), is part of the PAC Network's Territorial Conference Cycle for the promotion of eco-regimes, and is aimed at farmers, ranchers, technicians and entities in the agricultural sector .
During the day , technical aspects, environmental benefits, and associated support will be presented, farmers' experiences will be shared, and a field visit will be made to the Cortijo de Maestre Estate (Alcalá de Guadaira) . Cortijo de Maestre is a benchmark in conservation agriculture, where, in addition to practices such as direct seeding and ground cover, landscape elements eligible for the biodiversity areas ecoregime can be viewed as biodiversity margins.
The event is supported by the Regional Government of Andalusia and the Carmona City Council and is aimed at entities in the agricultural sector, farmers, ranchers, agricultural professionals, and/or any individual or organization interested in implementing eco-regimes.
