MAPA's AKIS Advisory Platform was presented at DEMOAGRO 2025 as a key tool for strengthening innovation and knowledge in the agri-food sector.

Medina del Campo (Valladolid) hosted the sixth edition of DEMOAGRO , one of the leading open-field agricultural machinery fairs, from May 20 to 22. At this event, the AKIS Advisors Platform , promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), presented its services and innovations to visitors. The aim is to raise awareness of this resource among agricultural professionals and encourage their active participation in the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (SCIA or AKIS).

The Platform team He explained to visitors its purpose and services, such as Media Library, Innovative Projects, Operational Groups, Digital Tools, Digimap, etc. Particularly interesting was the new Advisor Support service, a free tool focused on providing specialized technical support to advisors and providing answers and practical guidance from specialists to queries posed by individuals and organizations registered on the Platform.

Participation in DEMOAGRO 2025 made it possible to bring this tool closer professionals from all over Spain who visited the fair to learn about and experience the latest technologies applied to the field, and provided information on available services, inviting them to register for free on the Platform.

Over three days, more than 35,000 people visited the stands of agricultural machinery exhibitors (drones, robots, etc.) and saw them in action. In Medina del Campo, they were also able to learn about new technological trends and solutions (IoT, artificial intelligence, robotics) that consolidate precision agriculture, soil management, crop resilience, and resource optimization.
