Vitartis includes measures to improve digitalization among the twenty proposals it has submitted to the Strategic Plan for the Agri-Food Industry of the Government of Castilla y León

The Food Industry Association of Castilla y León, Vitartis , whose Board of Directors met on December 12 in Salamanca , has positively valued the industrial plan recently presented by President Fernández Mañueco.

However, among the recently presented improvement measures, he has called on the Junta to "work jointly with other ministries to improve telecommunications infrastructure and connectivity in rural areas , which will facilitate the digital development of the agri-food sector." And he advocates including funding for collaborative projects in which different links in the value chain are present in terms of innovation, digitalization and implementation of new technologies in which the industry can act as a driving force.

The agency recommends that the 'Guide to Aid' of Castile and Leon also include those of other regional, national and European organisations, so that the agri-food industries can better access information on all the available options.
