The Spanish Fertilizer Trade Association (ACEFER) is holding the sixth edition of the National Congress on Fertilization on September 25 and 26 at the Puerta América Hotel in Madrid , under the motto “Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence” .
The year 2024 has been crucial for the agricultural sector, with numerous mobilisations at European and national level highlighting the importance of agriculture and food.
Energy industry and its relationship with fertilizers
During the congress, key topics will be addressed such as the fertilizer market and regulations , the current situation of the agricultural sector, and technological and artificial intelligence advances in the field . The energy industry and its relationship with fertilizers, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and the carbon footprint in the sector will also be analyzed.
There will be an exhibition area where startups and established companies will be able to showcase and advertise their latest technologies and services.
The registration fee varies depending on the date on which it is formalised and whether or not you are a member, and ranges from 260 to 385 euros.
