Description
This project aims to develop a procedure that includes a specific blood collection protocol for each slaughterhouse, taking into account the specific characteristics of each and always adhering to good handling practices.
Description of activities
- Optimization of storage and transportation conditions until blood processing.
- Definition of blood processing conditions to obtain sterile plasma and serum, taking into account the specific characteristics of the species (bovine, porcine).
- Characterization of different bovine and porcine plasmas and serums according to the criteria of pharmacological laboratories (clients).
- Development of specific procedures for storing and distributing the product to the end customer, including shelf life.
