Objectives
The objective of this Task Force is the energy recovery of forest waste generated by thinning Aleppo pine forests. After forest fires affecting the Mediterranean area, Aleppo pine stands tend to regenerate spontaneously at very high densities and thinning is necessary to increase the resilience of the stands.
