Description
Training agricultural personnel and introducing new techniques, technologies, and crops on farms are necessary to cope with the sector's ongoing changes.
Therefore, this Operational Group aims to improve farmer training and thus enhance the competitiveness of crops, and in particular, of irrigated agriculture in Spain.
This Operational Group carries out innovative knowledge transfer actions within the framework of the digital platform for knowledge transfer and innovation in rural areas related to sustainable irrigation, aimed at training farmers to improve the competitiveness of crops and farms. Knowledge transfer will be carried out through the digital platform known as the Irrigation University.
Objectives
- Involve the innovative scientific community in the transfer.
- Provide a digital platform that enables subsidized and subsidized online training for farmers, professionals, and companies in the sector.
- Define new transfer activities both on the platform and in person throughout the country.
Results
- Improve training in the agricultural sector on efficient water use and ensure the transfer of knowledge derived from research relevant to their activities.
