Description

This Task Force aims to understand the perceptions of society and potentially interested parties regarding the forestry and timber sector.

From there, they develop the materials and support necessary to disseminate the sector's contributions to society as a whole, using an innovative approach with technologically-based elements tailored to each audience.

Objectives
  • To enhance the forestry and timber sector, changing society's perception of it by disseminating the forestry sector's contributions through methodologies that include innovative technologies.
  • To showcase the benefits of forests by demonstrating their ability to mitigate climate change and their contribution to the SDGs through the Circular Economy.
  • Clarify that wood is the best material available for construction, due to all its advantages, highlighting the fact that it is the only recyclable, reusable, renewable, and environmentally friendly material.
  • To raise awareness that this is a key subsector for preventing depopulation in rural areas and generating wealth and employment sustainably, while enhancing the landscape and biodiversity.
