Operational Group: Innovative technologies for combating emerging, re-emerging, and transboundary forest pathogens

The creation of this Operational Group aims to identify forest genetic material with strong constitutive and induced defenses and assess the extent to which defense expression depends on environmental quality; develop pilot GIS maps of disease and/or pest sensitivity based on Earth observation data and phytopathological, nutritional, and climatic contrast measurements in a pilot area; and develop a dynamic detection system for phytopathological disease and/or vigor based on infrared and/or multispectral captures using satellites and/or drones.
