Farming solutions to climate change

This Operational Group aims to develop a process of social participation that will lead to the creation of a network of farmers who will face the effects of climate change in the Galician horticultural and wine sector, by promoting agricultural practices that respect ecosystems and the conservation of biodiversity.

With all this and following the recommendations of the National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change, it is considered necessary to collectively build a proposal from the scientific, social intervention and agricultural practice fields, which generates innovative responses to tackle this new situation.

It is considered essential and urgent to promote the transmission of knowledge between academia and the rural world, articulating participatory methodologies and social innovation and self-management.
