Operational Group: Farm Solutions to Climate Change

This Task Force aims to develop a process of social participation that will lead to the creation of a network of farmers who will address the effects of climate change on the Galician horticultural and winemaking sector by promoting agricultural practices that respect ecosystems and conserve biodiversity.

With all this in mind, and following the recommendations of the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan, it is considered necessary to collectively develop a proposal from the scientific, social intervention, and agricultural practice fields that generates innovative responses to address this new situation.

It is considered essential and urgent to promote the transfer of knowledge between academia and the rural world, articulating participatory methodologies and social innovation and self-management.
