Application of precision agriculture techniques to forage crops

This Task Force seeks to implement innovative techniques in the food system, maintaining a crop rotation called double cropping with forage corn (summer species) in rotation with winter forage crops such as triticale, rye, barley, oats, or ryegrass, etc.

These forages are harvested when green and ensiled, providing the forage base for feeding. In this innovative process, the possibility of applying precision agriculture techniques is being studied, based on the knowledge and differential treatment of the plots, with the support of ICT and two positioning systems.
