The objectives of this Operational Group are:

• Allowing for fewer operations and tasks in the hives, which will reduce time and free up work, increasing productivity and reducing costs in caring for the hives.
• New application techniques and/or effective supports for both natural active substances and the necessary food for bees and larvae, as well as the combination with mite control strategies through the use of sanitary funds.

This new support, excipient or application technique has the following objectives:

• Improve the effectiveness of products and/or produce their release in a more controlled, constant manner without negatively affecting bees.
• Reduce analysable post-treatment residual levels.
• Ease and standardization of application; reducing risks at work and for people; offering a support or formulation that does not affect beekeepers when applying them; reducing application costs.
• Reduce product costs, reduce work on hives.
• Improve the profitability of hives and therefore of beekeeping.
• Reduce the environmental impact, reduce waste generation and carbon footprint and improve the quality of the product obtained.
