Mechanization for productive, sustainable and integrated resin extraction in the multifunctional use of the forest

The objective of this Task Force is to innovate in forestry mechanisation and integrate resin production with the rest of the forest resources, in order to increase the productivity, profitability and sustainability of the Spanish resin sector in the short, medium and long term. Resin extraction activity, which has been almost extinct in our country since the late 1980s, seems to be reborn after a long period of crisis but remains anchored in traditional methods and techniques. This Task Force aims to provide a solution to this problem.
