Operational Group: Development of innovative strategies for the planning of agricultural estates through land stewardship as a tool to make the creation of high added value products compatible with the conservation of cultural heritage.

Creation of an Operational Group whose primary objective is to generate a wide-ranging project that effectively promotes throughout Catalonia the compatibility of agricultural production and marketing with the conservation of natural heritage through land stewardship, thus allowing farms to be planned in a holistic manner, integrating economic, social and environmental aspects.

A methodological proposal has been made with an integrated methodology for planning farms from the agricultural, forestry and land stewardship point of view (management of natural values).

It also includes a methodology for promoting the management of short marketing chains for agricultural and food products produced by the farm and, finally, two proposals linked to the creation of a network of advisors at a Catalan level who can implement this methodology and a series of exemplary farms, for each type of agriculture, that can apply this planning methodology and extend it to other farms of similar types.
