Operational Group: Extensive Livestock Farming in the Pyrenees

The Task Force is pursuing the creation of a virtual fence for managing extensive livestock herds through the use of electronic collars.

To this end, the aim is to design and test the electronic devices necessary to implement a virtual fence, including software for tablets and mobile phones, and an animal collar. In addition, stimuli are analyzed as negative signals, and learning guidelines are established for livestock and farmers.
