Actions: 1. Analysis of the starting situation. 2. Comparative evaluation of the most efficient and environmentally sustainable alternatives with emphasis on biofumigation and biodisinfection, composting and livestock use of organic agricultural waste, use of biodegradable materials in mulch and raffia, reduction of the carbon footprint in production and marketing, use of renewable energy and efficient irrigation techniques. 3. Design of the development parameters of a future information and demonstration tool for the profitable and sustainable management of agricultural holdings. 4. Definition of training and capacity building tools for farmers. The project is complemented by dissemination through good practice guides, technical dossiers, and professional conferences.
