The Operational Group is developing a project that consists of developing a platform that allows the standardization and integration of data from the Almería agricultural sector and government sources, allowing its analysis using Big Data and Artificial Intelligence tools and developing predictive models that provide added value in decision-making.

The high degree of specialization and competitiveness of production companies has led to a spectacular increase in the use of ICT tools applied to the production system. On the other hand, the administration facilitates the reuse of data through Open Data policies. With the increased inclusion of Big Data technological tools and Artificial Intelligence, there is an opportunity to improve management and results in all processes and stages of the value chain in agriculture.

It is essential to achieve a correct integration of the different existing databases. The platform will allow standardization to integrate data from the Agro Almería sector from:

• Internet of Things.
• Experimental data.
• Production data.
• Traceability, marketing and economic systems and tools that, in a post-analysis using Data Mining, Big Data and Machine Learning tools, allow the development of Predictive Models that, implemented in Expert Systems (software), provide added value in strategic decision-making.
