Description
MIKOGEST promotes the management of the regulation of the mycological resource through innovative techniques (ICT tools), in order to guarantee sustainability in the use of the resource and the traceability of the product.
Objectives
- Estimate productivity and production projections to enable decisions to be made to ensure sustainable management of the natural environment.
- Establish management criteria to ensure the sustainability of the resource and its traceability.
- Professionalize the collection and promote the association of collectors.
Results
- Predicting production based on habitats and weather conditions.
- Design and structuring of a Mycological Big Data that allows to address and analyze the large volume of data existing in the natural environment ( https://visor.mikogest.net/ ).
- Development of the Smartbasket application, an open and downloadable app for all users to turn a mobile phone into a smart basket ( https://www.mikogest.net/pagina/smartbasket ).
- Design of the Micontrol tool to facilitate the work of controlling the use of guards in mycological areas ( https://www.mikogest.net/pagina/micontrol ).
- Sustainability criteria for use in the territories based on the determined productive variables.
- Organic certification for a total of 240,389.72 ha in Castilla y León.
- Creation of the association of professional collectors and a training and active cooperation plan and project management as knowledge transfer tools ( https://seteros.es/ ).
